Throughout the ages, since the dawn of humanity, there have been those special beings among us who step outside of ordinary life, to try and cast a spotlight on what it is to be human. We call them artists.
Whether they are poets, dancers, painters, musicians, we have always relied on the artist to try and make sense of our humanity, to take our breath away, to ask the hard questions about life, and to help us fully embrace our lives.
The Caroline Victoria Coldicutt Arts Foundation (CVCAF) was founded to nurture the student creative artist, to encourage their imaginations while helping them share their creativity and talent in all forms of artistic expression, including visual arts, media/film, photography and writing.
The objective of the CVCAF is simple – to encourage and support student artists as they harness their creative awareness. Our goal is to become a significant contributor to student artists and their support systems – one that will sustain and encourage their artistic process.
